After a long winter indoors, there’s no better feeling than going back outside and enjoying the great weather in a little piece of paradise…
The Cap-d’Ail coast walking trail is a perfect example, it’s 3.6 km begins on  Mala beach, goes through Cap Rognoso and la pointe des Douaniers, all the way to Marquet beach. Caught between the sea and the rocks, with the sea breeze rushing through your hair, take a walk along the mediterranean coastline, surrounded by the soft fragrances of iodine, oleander and green oaks, you’ll feel rejuvenated and free. And so, the path will guide you through coves and small inlets, and will let you discover a whole new world full of exotic plant-life, both marine and land based. During your walk, you might decide you want to a take a dip in the beautiful azure waters, and you can : there are a few places perfect for swimming, such as Mala, covered by luscious greenery, or Pissarelles, surrounded by rocks, or at Marquet, close to Monaco. If you’d prefer somewhere quieter, there are many small creeks along the track, where there are less people, but where the swimming is not supervised. The hike has so much to offer, it is educational, ecological and wonderfully fragrant, thanks to all the plant life, you’ll be able to find year-round Mimosas, Carob trees, Barbary figs, Bougainvillea, and also the parcours fleure bon la Provence. The coastline is also dotted with several beautiful villas built with a « Belle Epoque » style, a demonstration of the area’s rich past.
